Meet the founders.
Ania Shefford
Co-Founder
From a family of professional athletes, with a hugely successful career in sport and a lifelong passion for property.
Ania has collaborated with the world’s most famous brands, athletes and events, including Nike, Lenovo, Rafael Nadal, Lauren James, the women’s and men’s UEFA European Championships (Euros) and the Australian Open. Her campaigns have been shortlisted for numerous awards, and she has appeared on judging panels for several sporting awards and competitions.
Her passion for property and renovation was nurtured from a young age, thanks to countless projects she undertook with her father. Her vision and entrepreneurial spirit have seen her buy, renovate and let multiple properties across England and Europe.
Whether working solo or managing a team, Ania prides herself on turning her clients’ visions into reality with remarkable precision, embedding excellent communication throughout the process.
Ania is passionate about investing in and growing women’s sport. She hopes the success of Empowered Edge will support this mission, and dreams one day of owning a women’s football club.
Olivia Finn
Co-Founder
A Central Saint Martins graduate with over 15 years of high-end residential refurbishment and an incredible eye for interiors.
Olivia cultivated her passion for creativity and design at the prestigious Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. She began her career managing projects for a London developer before launching her own refurbishment business, leading a team of builders delivering high-end renovations.
Her unique blend of hands-on design expertise and meticulous project oversight allows her to offer full turnkey management, from initial consultation through to the selection of soft furnishings, ensuring every project is as stylish as it is functional.
Olivia also brings over a decade of experience in construction recruitment, specialising in engineering and sustainability, and a deep network across the built environment that she draws on for every client.
